How do you get this version for Ubuntu 12.04?

E.g. by compiling it by hand: http://techbase.kde.org/Projects/KDevelop4/HowToCompile

What is the state of the ruby plugin for 4.6? I tried to compile it for 4.5 but it gave opaque errors and I had to give up due to lack of time.
Thanks
Kieran

The 1.6 branch of ruby should compile fine against KDevelop 4.6. Try it out and report any issues you find to our bugtracker. Last I heard its quite usable.
